Spring is in the Air! The residents at Quail Summit are wondering “Waddle We Do When It Rains” as they wait impatiently for May flowers. Fortunately, the Department of Life Enrichment under Wendy Ubbink’ s direction has many activities planned: scenic rides around Ontario County, out to dinner and lunch at local restaurants, and various musical programs. The Life Enrichment Department is always open to new suggestions for programs and places to go. Don’t be bashful, make suggestions this includes family members as well as residents.
A resident committee comprised of Estates residents have been busy working with Randy Sears, Director of Maintenance to decorate the six hallways of the Estates. This has included selecting artwork and arranging it for display. Check it out as you walk the Estates hallways! Thank you to the resident committee for sharing their time and talent to finish the Estates Hallway redecoration. A fine example of resident’s making Quail Summit their home.
April is also Acts of Kindness month. Daily, I am fortunate to witness such acts: residents helping each other out, carrying a package, shopping for another resident, and the Good Neighbor Committee which sends cards to residents. It is these Acts of Kindness that makes Quail Summit Rich.
Wishing you and your families a Happy Spring and Easter.
