Greetings from Gloria…

Fall is upon us; the nights are cool, and trees are beginning to change color. In October National Health Care Food Service Worker Week is October, 6-12th. I am pleased to announce that Becky Boylan has been appointed the Food Service Director. Becky is a graduate of Paul Smith’s College with a degree in Culinary Arts and brings with her years of experience working in local food service establishments including: Simply Crepes, Dobbers, and the Canandaigua Country Club. Please welcome Becky to her new position. Patrick Tolbert has been hired as a Senior Cook, he comes to Quail Summit, having served as Executive Chef of the Ballroom at Carey Lake, a Sous Chef at the Inn on the Lake, and at Belhurst Castle. We are fortunate to have such talented individuals in our food service department.

This month we will be celebrating the harvest.  This area we know as home, is blessed with a plentiful harvest to celebrate this, Quail Summit is having a Harvest Dinner Dance on October 16th. Dinner will be served at 5PM and will feature a special menu, music, and dancing at 7 PM. So, get ready for a fun filled evening.

Halloween is coming, plan to invite your grandchildren to Trick or Treat at Quail Summit on Sunday, October 27 at 1:30 PM. Ghosts and Goblins roam the halls, gathering treats with cider and donuts at the conclusion.
