Sr. Resident Care Assistant – (Day and Evening opportunities: full-time and part-time)

We currently have full-time or part-time opportunities on our evening shift. Come join our Wellness team! As a Sr. Resident Care Assistant for our independent seniors, you will provide physical and psychosocial care.  Additionally, this role is also responsible for completing medication passes following the DOH policies and procedures, as trained on-site. The Accountant supports community operations by being responsible to provide leadership and coordination of total company financial reporting and financial controls. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare and post journal entries during month-end close. Oversees all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems to assure compliance with federal, state and local government laws and regulations. Safeguards assets with accurate and timely recording of all transactions by conducting internal audits, controls and checks across departments. Prepares and analyzes financial statements including balances sheet, income statements and change in net assets statements and details variances to budget. Review analyses with financial management monthly. Coordinate information to all outside auditors for fiscal audits and annual cost reports. Identifies financial process and/or internal control problems and presents recommendations for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness. Drafts monthly financial statements for management’s review in an accurate and timely manner, reviews monthly financial statements and compare to actuals with view to identify, explain and correct variances as appropriate. Supports the payroll process and provides back up to the Business Office Manager. Assists in developing projections and budgets. Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minimum five years of progressively responsible accounting and finance experience. CMA/CPA preferred but not required. Pay starting at $65,000.
